I can't believe I am not grounded! I mean I was expecting the worst: my new cell phone taken away, not being about to drive for weeks, no contact with friends for the time being......ya know all the horrible stuff you imagine your parents taking away from you when you do something horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND IT DIDN'T HAPPEN! Don't get me wrong I am thrilled, but at the same time I am amazed!

Okay, so you are probably wondering what the hell I am talking about; I'll start by explaining the whole situation to you.

The title of this entry expresses how I feel but does not even come close to truely explaining the week I have had!!!!!!! It has been the most eventful---and not always in the best way----and long week ever! And it's only Thursday morning! So bear with me in my attempt to recount the past few days and all the curveballs that have been pitched to me.......and believe me, that metaphor has more reality than you think!

While I was at my friends house yesterday, her Aunt showed us this hilarious video on YouTube. It's called "Evolution of Dance" and this guy dances continuously for 6 minutes to songs by Elvis, M.C Hammer, Nsync, Eminem and others. I have watched it a total of 3 times and I think it gets funnier the more times you watch it. But if you were to ask my brother, who I just showed it to, he would tell you it was the most pointless 6 minutes of his life and it was just retarded.

So I would trust that the majority of you (who live in the U.S) had a good 4th of July.....I know I did. Okay so it wasn't the best holiday in the books, but I enjoyed what I could make of it as it decided to rain in my part of PA (just south of Trenton, NJ, north of Philly).

So yesterday morning I woke up at 7:30..........my body must have a messed up clock because I swear I only get to sleep in occassionally.......and mostly sat around all morning, getting ff.net updates, as well as that from DLC and LJ. Meanwhile. my brother and Dad are outside attepmting to mow the law after it rained the night before........I got to do the raking!! *feigns excitement*

Now for the saving grace of the day.....One of my best friends calls me and asks if I want to come spend the day at her house, despite the fact that I have my whole entire family coming over. And my answer is.......................yeah! So I spent the day at her house doing absolutely nothing. Okay, so I wouldn't call sitting around making CD's and talking on IM, fighting with a friend over who is better: Yankees or Red Sox. That's all we ever talk about when we have conversations.....I know it's pointless, but it's funny.

After all that.....I come home to my uncle and my mom having a very strenuous conversation. See, my uncle is having his first kid in about 7.5 months and he's being a little overprotective. Supposedly, my aunt left the party yesterday because she wanted to sleep (she's suffering from a cold) and my mom was trying to tell my uncle that she "can" have medicine and it won't hurt the baby. Meanwhile, my uncle sits there and tells her that she doesn't know anything. Here's the funny part:

Mom: 4 kids=4 pregnancies  
                    vs.
Donnie (Uncle): No kids = No experiance 

Honestly, he's her brother. He should no that there is no point in arguing with her by now!

Last but no least, to make my day even worse.............the one CD my friend made me, isn't working and it's the one that has all the good songs on it!!

And that was my day!!!!! Absolutely nothing spectacular!! There wasn't even free entertainment from my neighbors (fireworks) because it was pouring by the time I went to bed! Just my luck!

We have the right to speak out by any means, because I believe that the CSI: NY producers have a obligation to the fans of the show to keep the relationship alive, because it has captured the hearts of the majority of it's viewers and has become an intricate part of the storyline!!!!
